Students start each class with a nutrition game or activity followed by hands-on cooking lessons. Each participant will receive an activity handout with recipes to keep.

Class 1-July 3 Healthy Baking
Commercial and processed baked goods can be laden with unhealthy and unnatural ingredients. In this baking class, students will learn to make some delicious goodies using whole foods and healthier ingredients.
Class 2 -July 10 Heart Healthy Food
The foods we eat can have a huge effect on keeping our hearts healthy. Students will learn to make healthy food choices with a menu planning activity and then learn to make some heart healthy foods.
Class3 July 17 Cooking with Herbs
Cooking with fresh and dried herbs can add pizzaz to many foods. Your child will how to use different kinds of herbs to make delicious mouth-watering recipes that can be duplicated at home.
