All materials, ingredients, supplies and $25 workbook included. I provide clean laundered aprons to use in class & cooking tools for each child for hands-on cooking activities are provided in the class.
Because we believe in using good wholesome ingredients we will use organic and fresh/frozen food whenever possible. This is a hands on class. Kids will be learning kitchen saftey & basic knife skills. Depending on the recipe they may be chopping, slicing, dicing, grating or peeling to prep food. All kids will have an opportunity to try new skills.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued. Due to Covid 19, if you are unable to attend class due to illness or quarantine a credit for a future camp/class will be given.

This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more!
The first 20/30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking and cleanup.
Our 8-Hour Core Day Camps Includes:
Class 1: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks
Class 2: Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts
Class 3: MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch
Class 4: Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods
PLUS ADDITIONAL FUN ACTIVITIES EACH DAY!
Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Each class will also include a focus on nutritional education.
For everyones health and saftey their will be:
No outside food or drink permited during the classes except water in a properly sealed container.
